Referring Veterinarians: Emergency & Specialty Care for Your Patients
At North Central Veterinary Emergency Center, we recognize the bond that exists between you and your clients as well as the important trust they have in you. Our goal is to build a close working relationship with you, your clients, and their pets by providing comprehensive emergency, critical care, and specialty services with the same compassion and comfort we give to our own pets.
Working With Us
We are an extension of your practice and provide a partnership that enables you to offer comprehensive care to your clients that includes 24-hour AAHA-accredited emergency services. When you’re not available for emergency care, we are here for you and your community. After treating and discharging your patient, we always direct your clients and patients back to you for aftercare and primary wellness services. North Central Veterinary Emergency Center also offers specialty services in dermatology and ophthalmology.
We highly encourage you to visit our facility in Westville, Indiana, to meet our staff and take a personal tour. Come talk to us! We hope to become your first choice in emergency, critical care, and specialty veterinary services for your patients.
Through our unique partnership with Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, we are able to offer advanced pet care with the help of some of the best thinkers and caretakers in the industry. We work with emergency and critical care residents from the college to consistently raise the standard and quality of care we are able to provide. One such partner is Dr. Laura Ilie, who has brought a more collaborative approach to solving challenging critical care cases at our facility.
Continuing Education Dinners
For our referring population, we host continuing education meetings with Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and CAVMA to enhance the care of pets in our community.
Consisting of a four-part series in 2014, we will divulge the latest, most advanced veterinary topics in research, methodologies, technologies, and theory. Here’s what we’ve got scheduled:
- March 19 – Dr. Fauber will be speaking about neurology
- May 6 – Dr. Jean Stiles will be speaking about ophthalmology
